Abstract EN

This study aimed to investigate the role of teaching English language on Arabic language competencies among the first circle students in the basic stage in Jordan From the point of view of educational supervisors.

To achieve the study goals the researcher depend on qualitative approach through using interview tool, which consisted of (9) open questions and applied it upon (15) school supervisors, as well as the researcher depend on descriptive analytical approach through using three Arabic language competencies exams, and applied them upon (678) male and female students from first circle, as (209) male and female students from 1st class, (226) male and female students from 2nd class and (222) male and female students from 3rd class.

The result showed that there an effect of teaching English language on Arabic language competencies among the first circle students in the basic stage in Jordan from school supervisors, point of views, and the Arabic language competencies among the first circle students in the basic stage in Jordan were high.
