Abstract EN

The study aimed at finding out the effectiveness of employing the strategy of Jigsaw in cooperative learning to develop some of the teaching skills among the female students at the university college of applied sciences in Gaza The study sample consisted of (25) students.

The sample represented about 25% of the total population of the study.

The sample was chosen intentionally because of the low number of female students in the selected department.

The researcher used the semi-experimental and an Observation card was constructed to achieve the performance of the teaching skills, consisted of (16) items represents the teaching skills distributed on (3) domains: (boot, diversifying stimuli, closing) The results of the study showed that there were statistically significant differences at the level of (0.01) (α) between the average grades of female students to develop some teaching skills before applying the Jigsaw strategy in cooperative learning and after applying it to the students in the university college of applied sciences in Gaza, in favor of the post implementation.

Jigsaw strategy for cooperative learning role was figured out in developing some of the teaching skills of students at the University College of Applied Sciences in Gaza, where Blakes Modified Gain Ratio was (1.26) and this is an accepted and appropriate rate.
