Abstract EN

The purpose of this study was to determine the level of social support and psychological alienation among battered women, the extent of difference in this according to the level of education and age.

The social support scale was prepared by Abu Ermila (2016) and the psychological alienation scale of the Al_Maula and Maqableh (2009), and the validity of the standards was verified in this study.

The following results were revealed: - The level of social support and psychological alienation was moderate among battered women in Jordan.

- There are statistically significant differences at the level of significance (a 0.05 0.05) in the calculated ratios of the abused wives on the social support scale and the psychological alienation due to the educational level, and the differences in the social support variable tend to favor the "less directional" category.

For the benefit of the "Master" category.

- There were no statistically significant differences at the level of significance (a 0.05) in the calculated averages of wives on the scale of social support and psychological alienation, due to the variable age.
