This paper concludes with a review of the history of film production in Sudan in line with the quantitative and qualitative need, which by accumulating standards in the field of artistic production and quality of the film, contributes to enriching the map of subjects that create new trends in film production.

The historical trace of the Sudanese film (1950-2015), both faction and documentary, face a number of problems related to two levels, one of which is funding and another the subject of the film itself.

The paper concluded that the film production lacks a map of subjects and issues under which problems such as funding The documentary film is the closest to occupy the space now, but it needs to look at its technical directions and rethink its rules to suit the need of the Sudanese viewers, according to the provision of creative laboratory that creates technical and creative standards.
