The purpose of this study is to determine the color description of the Umayyad architecture.

It also aims to classify the vocabulary of color in Umayyad architecture.

The researcher used the descriptive analytical method through the observation as a tool in describing and analyzing the models under study.

The number of the models were two models of Umayyad architecture in the Levant, the first consists of nine forms of Dome of the Rock Mosque in Palestine, and the second model of eight forms of Qusr amrah in Jordan.

The main results of the study were that the earth colors and derivatives were used on the internal windows of the Dome of the Rock Mosque.

While the exterior windows there is a variety of colors were used, such as blue and its derivatives, and brown, which represents a column of marble were used the colors of brown and Zaiti.

The wall painting is represented in combat movements and a variety of earth colors were used in their degrees, green color and its values.
