Abstract EN

Al Asiga theatrical group, Sudan known as one of the famous groups of performing theater, and TV drama, since the early seventieth of the twenties century.

This study intended to follow the growth of the group, through documenting, and analytical methodologies.

Yet, the group criticize the ongoing situation, not facing as Youth Theater groups did.

Most of the group members were studying, or ex-students of the high Institute of Music and Drama, college of music and Drama now.

Hence they benefited from the theatrical techniques of the international theater experience, specially, the epic theater form.

The Study resulted with: 1-Every member of the group has his own style in spite of the collective works of the group.

2-The theatrical situation in Sudan facing a lack of documentation, clear mission and views.
