Abstract EN

This study dealt with the Ottoman-Egyptian policy towards the region of Najd from 1818 to 1840, following the nature and course of this policy, which ranged from intensity at times to complacency at other times in accordance with the regional and international conditions of the Ottoman Empire on the one hand and the interest of the Arab states of the Ottoman Empire On the other hand, such as the state of Egypt, which was carrying out military campaigns acting on behalf of the Ottoman Empire against the territory.

This study came in the 19th century, a period characterized by the multiplicity of international and regional power lines and the multiplicity of interests of these forces in the Arabian Peninsula, which added importance to their relations with those forces, including the Ottoman Empire, which led the study to study how to deal with international forces such as the Ottoman Empire And local forces such as the state of Egypt with local forces working on the establishment of a political entity in the Arabian Peninsula and how these local forces dealt with the regional and international environment that deal resulting from the reflection of the Ottoman policy towards these local forces.
