Abstract EN
This study aims at explaining and analyzing the population change in the city of Al-Bayda, during the period (1987 – 2015), by using the GIS.
Causes and trends of the population changes were studied by analyzing the population growth and distribution.
This study applied the GIS Technique to obtain data about the population changes as well as growth and distribution.
In addition, Statistical methods have been used for calculating the population growth and some population density maps.
It was shown from the study the population growth, and the patterns of changes in the population distributions during fast the period of the study, particularly Al-ghariga and Al-Bayda Al-sharqyaha.
