The term "textual coherence" in the literatures of text linguistics refers to the analysis of discourse in terms of the harmony and consistency between those elements consisting the text, which include all formal and implicitconnectors and, at the same time, create or represent a strong texture of text on both Shallow and deep levels This research aims at presenting a theoretical conception of the role of pronouns in achieving the textual coherence, as one of the mechanisms of connection and harmony that achieves the textual cohesion Then the research adopts Surat Al-Hajj as a model for the application, revealing harmony in the deliberative pronouns of different types The research includes a preface to the concept of textual coherence, and the role of pronouns in achieving it, and reveals four main features of the personal pronouns reference in Surat Al Hajj: their concentration and flow, the diversity of their field of reference, their multiplicity for each reference, and shifting and movement.
