In this study, a nonlinear analysis technique, Lyapunov Coefficient, and the conductance measurements are used to understand the properties of DNA Nanowire as a Quasi-One-Dimensional Tight-Binding Chain.
Lyapunov Coefficient for five DNA sequences including [(G/C)24], [(A/T)24], [periodic)24], [(code periodic)24] and [(random)24] were studied.
Its magnitude and behavior as well as the conductance-temperature dependence are proved to be very useful for providing considerable information about DNA Nanowire system.
In addition, the transmission of these five sequences and temperature-dependent conductance (vary from 0K to 300K)has been investigated.
