Abstract EN

The objective of this paper is to measure the impact of human capital on economic growth in theArab Maghreb countries during the period (1995-2015).

To achieve this goal, the time series data segmentation was adopted (panel models), where the results of the study showed a positive and significant effect of human capital on economic growth in theArab Maghreb countries, with the weakness of this effect compared to the other economics determinants.

The study explained all these results that the increase in the human capital in the Arab Maghreb countries contributes in supporting the production, encouraging investments and increasing research and development, which in turn supports and contributes to economic growth.

This study also explained the weakness of this positive and moral influence of the increasing rise of unemployment equations and brain drain phenomenon, and weakness of education programs in adapting to the demands of the Arab Maghreb market.
