Abstract EN

The study of the social history or any of its aspects is not an area of interest until recently .

The foces was on the social aspect as if is closely related to their everyday life This is applicable to Ad-Diwaniyah city .

This study is concerned with its social paspechves , the health one in particular .

Its wevevi handling these features was not a straight forward process because of the deterioting situation because of the diseases spreaded.

The study consists of the introduction and three sections and a conclusion that includes the basic findings : The first section focuses on the health activity in Al-Diwaniyah 1920-1933 The secand section deals with the health cectivty in Ad-Diwaniyah in 1932-1945.

The study also handles the nisttutional establishments and their in fluence on ceue providing health .

the third section discusses the health , activity in the city after match the second world war until 14 .
