Abstract EN

The current study aimed to investigate The alexithymia of autistic children's Parents and its relationships with psychological stress.

Moreover, it also investigated the differences in alexithymia between fathers and mothers in light of chronological age and sex of an autistic child.

Sample consisted of (65) of fathers ,(30) mothers(35).

The researcher used the following scales: (1) Alexithymia Scale (2) Psychological stresses Scale.

The researcher used also a number of statistical methods to test research hypothesises.

The findings showed that there were a postive co-efficient relationship between alexithymia, psychological stresses.

, There were not differences among fathers and mothers in alexithymia and psychological stresses , while There were differences in alexithymia among fathers and mothers in light of sex of an autistic children and also An Alexithymia could be predicted through dimension of physical stresses
