Abstract EN

The purpose of this study was to identify the level of psychological security and future Anxiety of a sample of Palestinian ex-captives released from Israeli prisons in Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate.

The community of the study include all the Palestinian captives released from Israeli prisons in Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate from (2000) to (2017) with approximately a total number of (7000) .

The sample of the study was chosen according to the method of intentional sample which included (149) registered captives with age ranged between (20-40) years old.

This inquiry used the measure of psychological security and the measure of future Anxiety as it was developed for study purposes.

The results showed that the level of psychological security is average, and future Anxiety was high among Palestinian ex-captives who were released from Israeli prisons.The results also showed that there were no statistically significant differences at the level of (a=0.05) in the sense of psychological security and future anxiety due to the variables age, marital status, and duration of capture
