This paper aims at presenting a reading of Essam Abou Shendi's novel titled Blood on the Walls.

After the abstract, the study focuses on tracing the work thresholds in its various forms (main title, sub-titles-acknowledgment, introduction), vision and its relation to characters, mechanisms of narrative contributing to revealing the writer's suffering that went deep into the artistic work such as recalling, irony, place employment, linguistic performance…etc – title - tool - vision - (Thresholds words: Kewcharacters)
