The movement of people has been known since ancient times, but it was not as it is now, where it has not been constrained, and with the emergence of the idea of state and the delineation of political boundaries, and the development of the idea of regional sovereignty of countries a new trend of migration has emerged.

The objective of this study is to determine whether Algeria's strategy has succeeded in addressing this phenomenon in the Mediterranean region And to try to know the political and economic reasons to take the decision of migration.

Therefore, Algeria has proposed to combat migration through mechanisms based on knowledge and analysis of causes and a comprehensive strategy based on addressing the causes of illegal immigration.
