This research studies interrogation style and its figurative purposes in the poetry of Ibn Zaidoon (died 463 A.H).

Through this research it became possible to study interrogation, its meaning and importance among grammarian rhetoricians.

The reason behind the initial position assignment to the interrogation articles has been researched too with reference to the most important opinions proposed by linguists in this concern.

After that an analysis of the figurative purposes of interrogation in his poetry were referred to.
