Patient-physician communication is an integral part of clinical practice.
in the context of chronic disease, effective communication between the physician and the patient is considered as an essential part of the longterm management period.
it improves patient’s compliance and quality of life while strengthening the relationship and trust between doctor and patient.
better patient-physician communication is based on a customized approach to the patient.
empathy, being receptive by listening to the patient and paying attention to the para verbal components of the communication are the basic principles of practicing good communication.

La communication médecin-malade fait partie intégrante de la pratique clinique.
dans le contexte d’une maladie chronique, la communication efficace entre le médecin et le patient est considérée comme un élément essentiel dans la prise en charge au long cours.
elle améliore l’observance thérapeutique et la qualité de vie du patient tout en renforçant la relation de confiance entre le médecin et le patient.
une meilleure communication entre le médecin et le patient se base sur une approche personnalisée du patient grâce à l'empathie, l’écoute active et à l’attention portée à la communication infra-verbale.
