New ibuprofen derivatives containing variously substituted pyrazoline have been synthesized, characterized by FT-IR and 1H-NMR spectroscopy and evaluated preliminarily for their anti-inflammatory activity.
In vivo anti-inflammatory activity of the final products (5a‐f) was studied in rats using egg‐white induced edema method of inflammation.
All of them showed anti-inflammatory activity compared to the control group (propylene glycol) except compound 5f that showed more anti-inflammatory activity than ibuprofen
