Abstract EN

Poem of Abi Firas Al-Hamadani aims at three purposes: flirtation, wisdom, and prides, the beginning of the poem regards flirtation, but the poet is decorated with some wisdom verses, to come back again to flirtation.

Then the poet moves to the clear pride in himself and in his nation.

So he needs to move among these purposes, especially in expression, so this research came to study this poem as a stylistic study depending on panoptic vision in reading the poetic text, beginning from denotation, then structure, reaching the smallest linguistic unit (sound), represented in poetic rhyme to discover the artistic characteristics which distinguish this poem.

The research consists an introduction and three themes, the introduction specifies the stylistic concept, shows the artistic and objective aspects of the poem, the first theme studies the denotative level, the second theme studies the structural level, and the third studies the sound level/ rhyme
