The aim of this study was to review the impact of: the change in the discount rate, the monetary policies of the Central Bank of Kuwait, and the implementation of the executive regulations of the Capital Market Authority in Kuwait on the weighted index of the financial services sector.
The analytical descriptive approach were obtained and the acquisition of data from the Kuwait Stock Exchange, through the analysis of a sample of the Public Shareholding Companies by (18) companies, and the distribution of a questionnaire on a sample of managers of financial services companies with 18 managers.
The study found a statistically significant effect on the weighted index of the financial services sector for both the change in the discount rate, the monetary policies of the Central Bank of Kuwait and the implementation of the Executive Regulations of the Capital Market Authority of Kuwait.
