Abstract EN
The Mongol empire included many religions, peoples, and various nations, among them shamanism, Buddhism, Judaism, Christianity, and Islam.
The Mongols had to adopt a clear policy towards these different religions and peoples, especially in times of peace, and primitive shamanism was incapable of providing any spiritual to the Mongols and Mongols recognition of the importance of religion.
The Mongols followed the policy of religious freedom with the followers of the other religions, followed by the policy of Genghis Khan and the Yassa law, which stipulated that all religions should be respected impartially and treated the religious men with respect.
The Mongols did not fight against religion but fought in order to force people to obey them.
Whoever obey them, they would leave him/her even if he/her free was a polytheist or a Christian or a Jew, and whoever did not obey them would be considered as their enemy, even if the person was one of the prophets
