Abstract EN

There were many Sufi sects and shrines in Algeria in the Ottoman era.

Their influence became apparent, mainly in the religious, social and jihadist field (holy war).

This was reflected in the influence on the political decisions as the Ottomans sought to win the hearts of the role they played in restoring security and achieving the political objectives.

However, the circumstances soon changed and these sects became dissatisfied with the Ottomans due to many reasons which led to many revolts, which brought about the collapse of the Ottoman rule in Algeria
