English Abstract

The aim of the current research is to identify the role of the academicians in the university curricula in order to motivate their students in the Faculty of Education for Human Sciences towards creativity and innovation from their point of view.

The sample consisted of 100 students, 63 students from the third grade in the Arabic language department, the rest students from the third grade in the Department of History were randomly selected for the academic year (2017-2018).

To achieve this goal, a questionnaire was required to measure the role of university curriculum academics to motivate their students towards creativity and innovation.

The researcher prepared a questionnaire consisting of (25) paragraphs, that characterized by honesty and steadfastness by presenting it to a group in the discipline of educational and psychological sciences.

After statistical analysis we found the following: 1-The percentage of the role of academic curricula to raise the motivation of their students towards creativity and innovation from their point of view in the Department of Arabic (%78.62).

2-The percentage of the role of academic university curricula to stimulate the motivation of their students towards creativity and innovation from their point of view in the Department of History ( %79.10).

3-There is no statistically significant difference between the view of the students of the research sample in the Arabic language and history departments in the role of the university curriculum academics to stimulate the motivation of their students towards creativity and innovation.

The researcher came out with a set of conclusions and made a set of recommendations as well as a number of proposals.
