In this study, we will try to focus on the Koranic and religious schools that are widely known in the Adrar region.

The different stages of schooling are compulsory for each student through the course of his study.

The sample consisted of 318 students, who responded to the questionnaire, in addition to an interview conducted with elders and school teachers to answer questions from the study on the role of Koranic school in religious and linguistic education and the preservation of the religious heritage
