Abstract EN

In this research we tackle a study of Surat Al-Israa' in general and its first aya in particular, since it is the only one that talks frankly about Israa' event.

At the beginning, it has studied the problems provoked by scholars concerned with this topic.

Then, it has tackled each word of the aya and shown its semantic meaning according to the dictionaries and the Arabic language books.

This research concludes that the term in the Glorious Quran needs a deep and comprehensive study in order to get the real knowledge about the Quranic term.
