The historical geography of the city of Tukharistan is very important in research asthe geographical location is significant.

The geographers consider the city as one of the core of the province of Khorasan and then took this name and widely called on all other provinces located on both banks of the River Gihon-Amu Daria, as included many fertile cities and villages, filled with various roads and paths pursued by walkers of them and to them with varying distances between one another.

This feature pulled out on the diversity of the geographical terrain of the cities, so for every city there are more than one geographical nature, which left a significant impact on the diversity of the city's climate in general and its other life activities.The research includes the study of naming Tukharistan city and its borders.
