Tasheef (unintentional textual alteration) This paper was conducted to explain changes that happen to holly hadith in its text (matn) or chain of narration (sanad) when it is reported or transferred by some narrators, which leads to difference in the hadith narration (riwayat) and comprehension (dirayat).

The paper is about the importance of tasheefscince.

It shows reasons behind tasheef and ways to recognize it; and famous textbooks that were concerned with this scince.
