Abstract EN

The developing countries suffers from many of the accumulated problems which resulted from aspects that related with environment.

The high degree of urbanization has effected serious problems within cities that has heavily influenced on population and led to the emergence of environmental problems.

Often, human try to alter the environment so different types of environmental pollution problem appeared which causes threat to human and all other living organisms .

Pollution is all the physical or chemical change leads to a detrimental impact on air, water or ground , or harm human health and other living organisms.

The paper aims to study the visual pollution in the city of Al-Zubair, and to know the most important manifestations of that pollution, its causes and factors that led to its occurrence, and extent of its spread all over the city.

The research has dealt with the most important problems caused by the spread of visual pollution in the societies of Al- Zubair city, and how the visual pollution causes a serious indirect threat to humans.

The danger of visual pollution lies in association with loss of a sense of beauty and the collapse of the aesthetic considerations.

The study ended with the results and some suggestions.
