Abstract EN

The platonic Ghazal (love poetry which is non-sexual) is one of the unique poetic phenomena of the Umayyad era .

This phenomenon matured and crystallized its characteristics from the other love poetry (Ghazal) patterns, and many poets known as the poets of platonic Ghazal.

The uniqueness of this phenomenon and its importance has attracted the attention of both the ancient and modern critics and scholars , , so they studied, meditated, analyzed the poetic texts, revealed their secrets, and clarified their substantive and artistic issues .

Despite the existence of this number of studies, and the criticism around it there are still secrets to be revealed , and the secrets can be highlighted , and gaps left by criticism and critics left room to go through, and to show some of the substantive or technical aspects of those who wanted it .

This is what we will do in our research.
