Abstract EN

The study examines novel of wool brides by the Kuwaiti writer Miss Khaled Al-Othman, who won Laila Al-Othman Prize for creative writing in 2006.

The edition is the second one which is published by the Arab Institute for Studies and Publishing in 2007.

The paper rapidly reviewed the issue of identity and ways of representing the personality.

So method which required for this study has to divide it into two sections: The first is about the identity of the heroine as a human being who has a distinct personality.

While second section is feminine identity, which is divided according to three dimensions, namely the father relationship, the celebration of the body and the sense of motherhood.

The approach adopted by the research was propose by the text itself, according to the methods of narrative analysis of the narration.
