This study discusses the British position of The Iraqi Invasion of Kuwait 1990-1991, Britain was one of the most countries rejected the occupation, the British policy has tried to get Iraq out of Kuwait since the first moments of the occupation, and exerted political and diplomatic pressure to do so.

After Iraq refused to comply with UN resolutions Which condemning the occupation and demanding the latter withdraw and return the legitimate government to Kuwait, Britain's military stance came which tried to use military force to implement Security Council resolutions, and used its enormous military potential in order to achieve its goal, which was not only for the protection of small States and the preservation of the sovereignty of international law, but there were covertly motives were the main engine of British policy towards Iraq at the time, where Britain tried to get rid of its internal problems, and get economic benefits from rich Gulf states, and its desire to take the lead in international politics, and prove to the American side that it is the country most harmonious and credible within the European Union.
