Abstract EN

This study observes the most important appearances of Ali Tantawi literature which is the description of the personalities.

His paper is composed of an introduction and three sections in addition to the conclusions.

The focus is on the concept of description from the perspective of the old and the modernists and its importance in the literature besides the participation in the process of all literary genres.

Then, we have dealt in detail with the literary talents of Ali Tantawi and we depended on the opinions of the writers and the critics in this respect in addition to the most stages of his life and his literary products.

The first section comes across the description of the Islamic figures while the second section highlights the description of the historical personalities.

The third section is devoted to the description of literary figures.

Depending on rhetorical and stylistic methods which are stemmed from and back to the text, we have taken two patterns in each section.
