Abstract EN

This paper presents the study of three unpublished cuneiform tablets, which are texts of receipt with economic implications related to pricing; small loans, loan with short maturity carry higher interest rates than other loans.

These cuneiform tablets are owned by Slemani museum..

The number of extant tablets inscribed during this period of Ur III (2112-2004 B.C) are approximately 120,000 tablets and tablet fragments are owned by all over the world in museums and private collections.

Although the original context of the tablets, which are unearthed during the illicit and unscientific diggings recently carried out in Southern Iraq that considerable damage had been done in the archaeological remains of several Sumerian cities and sites Mesopotamian, we are constantly focused on identifying the ownership of the texts and finding out their geographical location and we could be able to know from archaeological remains of Sumerian city they come.

These new texts are presented in transliteration, translation and contextual commentary, with copy and photocopies of the texts.
