Abstract EN

This paper ‘The aesthetic design unit for the fabrics of the newly born clothing factory in Mosul’ deals with the role of designers in designing fabrics and employing them aesthetically.

This role also requires profession and adequate knowledge in this process.

The problem of this paper lies in the insufficiency of connection between aesthetic design unit and the intended profession aim.

The significance of the paper comes from its contribution in developing national industry and raising the level of the quantity and quality of the production by getting much benefit from results of analyzing the design.

This paper aims at specifying the aesthetic design unit for the clothes of the new born babies.

It is only specified to the design unit of the textile and cloth factory in Mosul governorate from 2000-2006.

The theoretical part is divided into three sections.

Section one includes the design unit and its relation to aesthetic elements; section two contains the ways of manufacturing clothes (textile and knitting), and the third one includes the significance of mixing natural and industrial fiber.

Chapter three is devoted to procedures and analysis of data that ends with the main results and conclusions.The paper ends with list of references and appendices as well as abstracts in English and Arabic
