Abstract EN

The study aimed at identifying the relationship between selfcompassion and personality traits as measured by the list of five major factors of personality.

The results of the study showed that there is a positive correlation between the dimensions of self-compassion and the characteristics of the personality of parents of children with intellectual disabilities.

There were no statistically significant differences between the sample on the scale of self-compassion by gender, level of education, and socio-economic level.
