Abstract EN

The study aimed to reach the answer to the main question: What is the role of education and Curiculm in social and cultural change? for that purpose, use the descriptive documentary method will be used and be based on collecting the required data by reviewing a great deal of the available educational literature on the topic of the study, beside analyzing various views and opinions of educational and social experts, thinkers and researchers on the topic under study, and hence, the data will be classified and analyzed in a way that helps in deducing the relevant answers to the study main question.

The study has finally reached the following main results: inculcating and developing values and attitudes in educational establishments generate effective and useful social and cultural change.

The rapid and radical changes in modern life necessitate that educational establishment must be concerned with building individuals with comprehensive mentality in order to comprehend and function in real life.

Creative thinking is the only way that fits realities of the society, and therefore can change it for the better.

Asking for change doesn`t mean the denial of cultural heritage; it means its development and excellence by bridging the gaps there are, and this will not be possible except through striking equilibrium and balance between convention and modernization.
