Abstract EN

Introduction: higher education affects not onl;y the students themselves, but also all individuals of the society.

Therefore, educational institutions are placing greater emphasis on meeting students' expectations and needs.

This study aim to determine the difficulties affecting educational quality in Faculty of Medicine of Syrian Private University in the domains of administration, facilities, academic, and the impact of these difficulties on students from their perspective, in addition, to recognize any statistical difference between the study sample subgroups.

Methods: the study included 259 questionnaire; each included 44 questions surveyed from medical students in the educational year 2017.

Results and conclusion: the results showed apparent difficulties in educational process in all study domains, we think that the current Syrian crises is one of the main causes.

Administrative problems were on top of the difficulties; therefore, we recommend reconsidering administrative services in university main campus.

We also suggest providing training courses for the faculty staff, and apply good academic guidance for students.

In addition to the continuing development of current academic curriculum.
