Cloud-based libraries or cloud-based libraries are one of the models of cloud computing in libraries in light of the second-generation applications of the Web.

Its idea is simply to make available various forms of information vessels through the library's website, allowing the user to share resources, as if the library's site were a community site, by appealing to one of the ready-made models provided by cloud computing.

The study explores the future of the library and information profession under cloud computing, and discusses the importance of switching to cloud solutions in the library environment, the potential information services provided by libraries in the cloud environment, and the requirements for transition to cloud solutions and associated challenges
