Abstract EN

The study aimed to reveal the degree of consultation within a multi-disciplinary team in primary schools that include learning difficulties programs in Jeddah.

To achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher used descriptive method.

A questionnaire consisting of two parts was applied: the first part includes teamwork members personal and professional information, and the second part includes (21) items about practices of consultation.

The sample consisted of (307) members of multi-disciplinary team.

The findings revealed that the highest degree of consultation was from the student counselor’s point of view while the lowest degree of consultation was from the learning difficulties teacher’s point of view.

The results also showed that there were significant differences between (learning difficulties teachers and parents) and the other sample categories regarding consultation practices in favor other sample categories.

The study recommended professional development program and administrative support to activate best practices in consultation among the team members.
