Abstract EN

This study aimed at determining the effectiveness of the reading racetrack strategy on enhancing the performance of students who have learning disability in the most common words of reading (visual words).The study used semi- empirical approach through multiple baselines across individuals.

The sample of the study consisted of three students with dyslexia out of five students in population.

Their ages range from 9 to 10 years.

The results showed that the reading racetrack strategy was effective in enhancing student’s performance in reading the most common words.

The first participant achieved 92.22% by reading 80% of total words and maintained 85.93%; the second participant achieved 97.77% by reading 80% of the words and maintained 89.16%; the last participant read 90.25% of total words and maintained 86.25%
