أجريت هذه الرسالة على عدد (15) كلب من الذكور التي فحصت إكلينيكيا قبل استخدامها و تتمتع ظاهريا بصحة جيدة.
و تم تقسيم الخمسة عشر كلبا إلى ثلاث مجاميع تتضمن كل واحدة خمس كلاب.
المجموعة الأولى (المجموعة الضابطة).
المجموعة الثانية لاستئصال الفص الأيسر الوحشي (الخارجي).
المجموعة الثالثة لاستئصال الفص الأيسر كله.
تم تجميع عينات الدم من الكلاب بعد نهاية الأسبوع الأول و الثاني و الثالث و الرابع و السادس و الثامن من العملية من كل المجموعات (طول فتره التجربة ثمانية أسابيع) وذلك لقياس البروتين الكلى و الألبومين و الجلوبيولين و مشتقات الجلوبيولين في مصل الدم.
تم أيضا تجميع عينات الدم لعمل العد الكلى و النوعي لكرات الدم البيضاء. و قد أظهرت النتائج انخفاض معنوي في مصل الدم للبروتينات الكلية, الألبومين, الجلوبيولين, في المجموعة الثانية و الثالثة في الأسابيع الأول و الثاني و الثالث و الرابع و السادس ثم الرجوع إلى المستوى الطبيعي في الأسبوع الثامن من العملية.
أوضحت هذه النتائج زيادة معنوية في العدد الكلي لكرات الدم البيضاء في الأسابيع الأول و الثاني و الثالث و الرابع و السادس ثم الرجوع إلى المستوى الطبيعي في الأسبوع الثامن من العملية.
و زيادة معنوية في العد النوعي لكرات الدم البيضاء (الخلايا المتعادلة, الخلايا الليمفاوية و الخلايا المونوسيت) في الأسابيع الأول و الثاني و الثالث و الرابع و السادس و لكن العد النوعي عاد إلى المستوى الطبيعي في الأسبوع الثامن من العملية, و لم يكن هناك تغير معنوي في عدد خلايا الدم القاعدية و الحمضية خلال فترة التجربة.
كما أوضحت نتائج الفصل الكهربي للبروتينات زيادة كمية بروتين الجاما جلوبيولين في الأسبوع الثالث و ازدادت النسبة في الأسبوع الثامن و ذلك للمجموعة الثانية بالمقارنة بالمجموعة الأولى.
كما أن هناك أيضا زيادة لهذا البروتين في الأسبوع الثالث و ازدادت النسبة في الأسبوع الثامن و ذلك للمجموعة الثالثة بالمقارنة بالمجموعة الأولى.
Abstract EN
This study was carried out to evaluate the immune status of the dogs after partial hepatectomy by clinicopathological, immunological and histopathological means.
It was performed on fifteen healthy male dogs which were classified into three groups consists of five dogs, group (I) for control and exposed to laparotomy, group (II) was used for partial hepatectomy of left lateral lobe and group (III) was used for partial hepatectomy of the whole left lobe.
The duration of the experiment was 8 weeks.
Blood samples were taken at 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 6th and 8th weeks to determine total and differential leukocytic count.
Blood samples were taken at 3rd and 8th weeks to perform protein electrophoresis to determine gamma globuline.
After the 8th weeks the dogs were sacrificed for the histopathological examination.
After partial hepatectomy there was increase in the number of total leukocytic count with neutrophelia, lymphocytosis and monocytosis with increase of gamma globulin level.
The liver showed hypertrophy, and the kupffer cells showed hyperplasia and moderate hypertrophy.
