أثر برنامج تعليمي قائم على الويب كويست في تنمية تحصيل طلاب الصف الأول الثانوي بمبحث الحاسوب في الأردن

Abstract EN

The study aimed at finding out the effect of an educational program based on the Web Quest on the level of achievement amongst first secondary students at the Computer Science Subject in Jordan.

The two researchers followed the semi experimental approach in this study.

The tool consisted of 30 items which are applied on (63) students of the first grade of secondary school in Madaba secondary school for Boys belonging to the Directorate of Education of Madaba, in the academic year 2017/2018.

The experimental group which consisted of (30) students and the controlling group which consisted of (33) students were randomly assigned.to the school.

The experimental group was taught in the proposed program, while the members of the control group were taught in the usual manner.

The results of the study revealed the existence of a statistically significant difference (α = 0.05) in the level of achievement for the benefit of the experimental group.

The mean value for the experimental group was (19.90) and for the controlling group it was (11.88).

In the light of the study results, many recommendations were presented to activate the educational programs based on the Web Quest for their effect in enhancing students' achievement.

The study recommends using the Web Quest in teaching and including the Web Quest in the curricula.
