Abstract EN

The aim of this study is to identify the reality of the application of social responsibility in civil society institutions, Agricultural Engineers Association – Irbid Branch.

The study was conducted on a random sample of the members of the association by relying on a questionnaire as a tool for measuring and testing the main hypothesis of the study: there is no significant effect at the level of (α≤ 0.05) to apply the dimensions of social responsibility in the Agricultural Engineers Association – Irbid Branch attributed to personal and functional characteristics of the sample.

The results of the study indicate that the Arithmetical Means of the responses of the sample members on the dimensions of the study tool ranged between 3.35 - 3.46 with a medium rating of all the dimensions of the study tool.

The first rank was the "moral" dimension, the second was "charity" dimension, the third was the "economic" dimension, and the fourth was the "legal" dimension.

The study dealt with some of the recommendations and suggestions that can contribute to improving the performance of these organizations and their acquisition of social responsibility.

The most prominent of these recommendations is that civil society institutions should adopt the social responsibility implications for their importunacy in achieving many societal and organizational goals
