Abstract EN

This study aims to shed light on the means and methods to end what`s called Inshighal Al-Rahim (The womb is dwelled with a fetus).

It also defines the concept of Inshighal (Being preoccupied), refers to its jurisprudential foundation and shows the Sharia evidence upon which it rests in order to differentiate between Inshighal Al-Rahim and the woman`s Inshighal and the benefit behind this distinction.

In addition, the study points out reasons and forms of Inshighal Al-Rahim and modern means to end it: medical, legal or international coordination.

The study concludes that each instance of sexual intercourse is likely to cause pregnancy and that modern means can be relied on in ending it.

The study recommends relying on medical and legal means in addition to international coordination to end Inshighal Al-Rahim and paying more attention to Inshighal as an effective factor that can influence the ruling of Sharia on certain matters.
