The study aimed to investigate the inclusion of technology topics and its learning standards in science curriculum for primary students.

The study applied a descriptive methodology by designing an analysis tool to analyze the content of primary student’s science books (fourth and fifth grade) in the light of technology learning standards which is necessary for them in primary level.

The analysis tool was built through listing technology topics and its learning standards by reviewing international modern projects in technology learning field like science project in the national curriculum and STEM project, also, the researcher included technology topics from analyzing previous literature done in this area.

Then, a preliminary draft of the list was designed in order to be reviewed by several experts in technology learning and examine whether it is suitable for primary student’s science curriculum.

finally, the final list included three main topics (technology tools, technology design, areas of technology).

The study was limited to analyzing the verbal content of primary student’s science books, specifically, fourth and fifth grade science books in Al-Aseer district.

The findings of the study indicated that there is a lack in the inclusion of technology topics and its learning standards in primary student’s science curriculum.

Moreover, the technology topics are purely academic and don’t emphasize the development of technology skills for students which is vital in helping students in improving their technology production and design for simple models to solve problems that encounter them in daily life activities.

The study recommended that officials should include technology topics and its learning standards in science curriculum for primary students, hence, future studies must concentrate in the development of science curriculum in different levels of education in the light of modern technology and mathematics and technology STEM
