Arabic Abstract

تعتبر المدارس الأساسية نقطة حاسمة لإعطاء القيم التعليمية و الصحية و البيئية الجيدة للمعلمين و الطلاب، حيث يمكن للظروف الصحية غير المتناظرة للبيئة التعليمية فرض مجموعة متنوعة من العواقب المدمرة على المعلمين و الطلبة، لقد هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى تقييم مخاطر الأمن و السلامة في المدارس الأساسية الحكومية في محافظة رفح حيث تم استخدام المنهج الوصفي التحليلي لتحقيق أهداف الدراسة، حيث تم تطبيق الدراسة على عينة طبقية عشوائية قدرها 340 من العاملين في المدارس، و قد استجاب منهم المشاركة في الدراسة ما يساوي 308 ما نسبته 90.5%، و قد تم إجراء اختبارات الصدق و الثبات لها من خلال عينة استطلاعية حيث أظهرت النتائج أن عامل كرونباخ ألفا كان بمعدل 0.952.

لقد أظهرت النتائج أن 91.9% من العاملين بالمدارس ذكروا أنه لا توجد حماية كافية و أمنة على النوافذ الخارجية للفصول الدراسية، و قد أشارت النتائج أيضا إلى أن أعلى معدل خطر من تدابير الصحة العامة بالمدارس هو قضية توفر مياه الشرب النقية باستمرار" و التي تم توثيقها من قبل 76.9% من العاملين في المدارس، أيضا لا توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في مخاطر الكهرباء، الغاز والمواد الخطرة، و مخاطر المناطق في الساحات الخارجية للمدارس بين العاملين الذكور و الإناث، كما أظهرت النتائج وجود فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في مستوى شدة مخاطر الحريق، النظافة البيئة و تدابير الصحة العامة بين المعلمين و المعلمات، علاوة على ذلك، لا توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في مخاطر الكهرباء الغاز و المواد الخطرة و تدابير الصحة العامة بين المدارس ذات المرحلة الدنيا والمدارس ذات المرحلة العليا، إلى جانب وجود فروقات ذات دلالة إحصائية في مستوى مخاطر الحريق النظافة البيئة و تدابير الصحة العامة بين المدارس ذات المرحلة الدنيا و المدارس ذات المرحلة العليا.

من ناحية أخرى فقد أظهرت نتائج الدراسة أن متوسط مستوى المعرفة بمخاطر الصحة و السلامة بين العاملين في المدارس الاساسية هو 64.6 %، حيث لا توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في مستوى المعرفة بين العاملين في هذه المدارس بين الذكور و الإناث و بين مختلف مستوياتهم التعليمية أيضا، بينما توجد فروق ذات دلالة إحصائية في مستوى المعرفة المتعلقة بمخاطر الصحة و السلامة بين مختلف سنوات الخبرة لصالح أولئك الذين لديهم أكثر من 20 عاما من الخبرة.

و قد تلخصت نتائج الدراسة في أن المدارس في محافظة رفح يجب أن تحظى باهتمام كبير مقارنة مع المؤسسات الأخرى في مجال الصحة و السلامة البيئية، لذا ينبغي النظر في المبادئ و المعايير خلال المراحل الخاصة بتصميم المدارس لتحقيق البيئة المناسبة للعمل و الدراسة، أيضا ينبغي أن يكون هناك تدريب لجميع المعلمين و غيرهم.

من العاملين في المدارس في مجال الإسعافات الأولية و القضايا المتعلقة بالصحة.

English Abstract

The results showed that 91.9% of school workers stated that there is no adequate and safe protection on the outside windows of the classrooms.

Additionally, the results indicated that the highest risk of public health measures is the issue of “Pure drinking water is constantly available”, which were documented by 76.9% of the school workers.

Also, there are no significant differences in the level of severity of first aid/treatment, electricity/gas, hazardous materials, and out-door areas risks between male and female school teachers.

Also, the results showed that there are significant differences in the level of severity of fire hazards, sanitation and environment, and public health measures between male and female school teachers.

Moreover, there are no significant differences in the level of severity of first aid / treatment, electricity / gas, hazardous materials, public health measures between lower and higher school grades.

In addition, there are significant differences in the level of severity of fire hazards, sanitation and environment, and out-door areas between lower and higher school grades.

On the other hand, the study results showed that the mean level of knowledge of health and safety risks among school workers is 64.6%, and there is no statistical significant difference in the level of knowledge between male and female school workers and between their different educational levels of knowledge.

While there are significant differences in the level of knowledge regarding health and safety risks between different years of experience of school workers in favor for those who have more than 20 years of experience. The study concluded that the schools in Rafah should be of great importance compared to other organizations in term of environmental health and safety. Principles and standards should be considered in the schools’ designing stage to achieve appropriate condition.

Also, there should be regular training for all teachers and other school workers in field of first aid and health related issues
