Abstract EN

The study aimed at measuring the impact of exports on economic growth, where exports are one of the most important areas of interaction between the local economy and the economies of the world, which lead to improving local productivity based on modern technology, that in turn contributes to increasing investment, providing hard currency and providing necessary resources for the production process.

That enables countries to increase the competitiveness of the economy which play a vital role in increasing economic growth.

The study showed that there is a positive relationship in the short and the long term between exports and GDP at a significant level of less than 0.005.

A %1 increase in exports contributes to an increase of % 0.13in GDP.

Exports have a strong impact on GDP and therefore on economic growth.
