Abstract EN

This research aims to give an overview of the protected agriculture in the Arab world with an emphasis on the reality of this technology in Algeria.

The research has shown the tendency of the Arab countries, like other countries in the world in growing the corps under protected conditions, as it is a tool for intensifying agriculture and providing them with many advantages that allow to face the various challenges faced by Arab agricultural sector.

Highlighting in this paper the reality of protected agriculture in Algeria, it has been shown that this technique has been remarkably prosperous, especially in the central coastal and southern states due to climate suitability and achievement of agricultural development objectives
