Measuring similarity is not easy because it is a vague issue.

Radicals have not agreed on an absolute definition for similarity measurement due to its wide linguistic meaning.

The radicals were two groups: the first advocated similarity measurement while the other denied it.

Each group provided pieces ofevidence to support its tendency.

The current study revealed the existence of similarity measurement because it is one of the types of true measurement without any doubts.

Despite the consensus between those who advocate similarity measurement, they have not agreed on one jargon for it.

Moreover, the proponents of similarity measurement have not agreed on the type of similarity which combines the origin and sub-origin and whether it is judgmental or imaginary.

The study also showed that similarity measurement is different from semi similarity measurement.

When there is a contradiction between them, it is preferable to use similarity measurement.

Finally, the radicals agreed that similarity measurement should be used when the suitable meaning cannot be found.
